Project 3 Progress

I am still working on figuring out a specific idea of what my final images will be composed of. Right now I am combining images I have already taken and experimenting with them. Also, I have been capturing more images to have a wider variety of material to work with. My ideas were to capture images of cycles in nature, for example; plants growing and dying, seasons changing, leaves changing, day and night and changes in weather.

  1. Nikki, I love this image. Honestly your starting of is so powerful, you show that you have so much skill. Once you figure out exactly what you want to do I know it will look really awesome. For now, I love what you have here, it might be cool of you faded and repeated that shape a few times to create a more dynamic image. Beautiful start!

  2. I like the pinwheel-esque pattern and think that it shows the cyclical nature of things very well. I would possibly change the shadows to match up to one light source, but keeping the shadows like they are may have an interesting effect on the image.

    1. Yeah, I hadn't noticed that before. I'll definitely mess with that and see if I like it better that way. Thank you.

  3. The leaf is Photoshopped really well I know how time consuming it can be to cut out images in Photoshop and you nailed it. I think your ideas that you are thinking about is what I was thinking, you can make it really difficult or easy depending on what you really want to do, but good start!
